New Hemodialysis Centers will be opened in Kyrgyzstan

Four new Hemodialysis Centers will be opened in three large cities of Kyrgyzstan from July to August this year on the basis of public-private partnership. The company that is implementing the project told about its details.

Julius Krueger Director of International Business Development Fresenius Medical Care, during a press conference in Bishkek today stressed that no country put forward such stringent demands for providing hemodialysis procedures, as in Kyrgyzstan.

He said that the first of planned 4 centers will open in Jalal-Abad city on July 2, and the remaining 3 until the fall of this year. Jalal Abad was chosen as the first city due to the fact that the building of the center is being reconstructed while Bishkek and Osh Centers will be built from scratch.

The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan and the German company Fresenius Medical Care signed an agreement to open centers for provision of hemodialysis services in Kyrgyzstan back in August 15, 2017.

At the first stage, 283 patients of public health institutions suffering from kidney diseases will be transferred to the new centers. They will receive services free of charge from the state budget.
