Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan rank 64 and 73 accordingly in Hanley Passport Index, which shows degree of freedom in travel of citizens of various countries in run up to start of the tourist season.
Citizens of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan can visit 76 and 63 countries respectively.
The consulting company Henley & Partners published a list of 100 countries whose citizens can easily travel due to absence of visa restrictions.
Tajikistan ranked 77 (58 countries of visa-free travel), Uzbekistan improved its scores to 76th position (57 countries), Turkmenistan ranks 82 (53 countries).
Mongolia ranks 75 (61 countries).
Passport Index, known before as the Visa Restrictions Index, is released since 2006 by the Swiss company Henley&Partners in cooperation with the International Air Transport Association.
Japan has been ranked first, its citizens can visit 189 countries without visas. Germany and Singapore share the second place with 188 countries they can visit free of visas. Spain, Italy, Finland, France, Sweden, South Korea rank third with 187 visa-free travel countries.
Afghanistan and Iraq (30 countries), Somalia (32 countries), Pakistan (33 countries) are at the bottom of the rankings.
